IE is finally dumping version 6, thank you!

Looks like IE is finally going to kill IE6, not directly, but by making all current versions of windows (Windows XP, Vista, and 7) automatically update it’s browser to the latest revision which on XP is version 8. This is excellent news for developers, since it will be much easier developing to multiple browsers.  While IE8 isn’t as good as 9, it is a huge leap ahead of 6 and we (developers) can finally remove the code in our sites that look for version 6.
